Customers are responsible for ensuring that their messaging campaigns comply with the requirements of the countries where messages are sent. - Requesting corrective action
- Blocking specific messages or routes
- Restricting account functionality or requiring additional verification
- Suspending services
- Terminating customer accounts
SMSALA may take such action immediately and without prior notice — including preventive or interim action while an investigation is pending — where reasonably necessary to address security, fraud, legal, regulatory, network, or third-party partner risks. SMSALA may also cooperate with telecommunications partners, regulators, or law enforcement authorities where required by law.
7. Third-Party Network Requirements
SMS messaging may involve multiple telecommunications operators and service providers. Customers must comply with applicable requirements imposed by SMSALA, telecommunications partners, and destination networks.
