4 networks carry SMS traffic in Colombia. MNP is live in most markets — run an HLR lookup before routing.

Requirements
All traffic is delivered through a shared Short Code, for which template whitelisting is required. If a dedicated Short Code is required, the company/brand must first be registered with the CRC (Colombia's regulatory authority) to obtain a Sender Code (SC). SMSALA initiates mobile network operator (MNO) provisioning only after CRC approval has been received.
